The Journey of Just Us Seasonings

Just Us Seasonings all started with a thought. 

 I remember asking God, “what else is there for me”? I had been feeling like I wanted to go further in life than where I was at the time. This led me to start baking and selling plates, but ultimately, I became burnt out doing that. 

One night, while I was asleep, God woke me up. There happened to be a YouTube video I saw that was about seasonings, and that's when it clicked! It just so happens that I love to cook, it’s my peace and escape from the world. That night, my journey with Just Us Seasonings began.

 I took advantage of the time I had at work and during the night while my kids were asleep to do my research.  This new journey with my business was great because it met a deep desire I had to work for myself so I could take care of my child who suffers from a muscular disease. My ability to be flexible and care for my child was my push and my reason for never giving up. 

 God revealed, and gifted me with my passion and purpose. Not only that, but He provided me with a way to make money using my gift. Starting out was hard and it didn’t seem like my dream would come to fruition, but I trusted God to take care of me. I saved my money, quit my job, and worked my plan. The moment I let go and got “out of my head”, the doors God initially closed had begun to fly open and my FAITH paid off!
